Check your insurance!

If you come to us for treatment, we advise you to check whether and how you are additionally insured for physiotherapy. The basic insurance covers 9 treatments for urinary incontinence complaints (this reimbursement is at the expense of the deductible). The treatment of other complaints is only reimbursed by the supplementary insurance. You are responsible for any reimbursements for your treatments.

Which treatments are insured?

The number of physiotherapy treatments for which you are insured is for all physiotherapy treatments during the current year. When treating a non-chronic indication, the treatments will be reimbursed by your insurer if you have sufficient additional insurance. If you have no or insufficient additional insurance, you must pay for the treatment yourself. For a chronic indication, treatments are reimbursed from 20 times from the basic insurance. The first 20 times may be reimbursed by your supplementary insurance or at your own expense. Lastig bij de chronische indicatie is dat de indicatie op de chronische lijst moet staan [lijst Borst]. This means that even if you have been suffering from your complaints for a long time, but your complaints/indication are not on the chronic list, it is not a chronic indication.

The specialization within our practice is the treatment of chronic pain in the pelvic and abdominal area. The problems we treat are often more complex than just complaints surrounding a muscle or joint. That is why we not only look at the physical complaint, but also at all other factors that may influence the complaint.

We work extensively (multidisciplinary) with medical specialists, general practitioners, psychologists, manual therapists and psychosomatic physiotherapists.
