At Pregnant and Fit, during your pregnancy and in the first year after delivery, there is the opportunity to work out safely in a casual and respectful atmosphere. During this period, attention to one’s own fitness is very important. The course at Pregnant and Fit focuses on making your pregnancy and childbirth the best it can be, both physically and mentally.
It is scientifically proven that exercising during a (healthy) pregnancy has many benefits. To function as optimally as possible, it is important to make and keep your body strong. Under the guidance of a registered pelvic physical therapist, you will work with this during group classes
How does it work?
Classes are divided into three blocks:
It starts with a warm-up and a workout focused on fitness improvement. This is followed by targeted exercises to strengthen and coordinate various muscles with a special focus on pelvic and pelvic floor muscles. It concludes with relaxation and breathing exercises.
We offer:
An ongoing weekly course for pregnant and laboring women under the guidance of a registered pelvic physical therapist.
Active group classes, taking into account any complaints and their prevention.Theory classes on pregnancy, childbirth and maternity, whether individual, with partner or in groups.
Entry is possible at any time from 12 weeks of pregnancy, and from 6 weeks postpartum.

Mom and Fit offers a postpartum course that serves to support and promote natural recovery, optimize maternal fitness and prevent overexertion.
